Service Description

*** PLEASE NOTE: All times are in EASTERN STANDARD TIME ZONE and tours start at Uffington House (1728 Rugby Parkway, Robbins, TN 37852). This is a mildly strenuous walk around the north end of the village and through the cemetery. We will be walking on uneven surfaces and some portions of the walk are on unpaved ground. It is possible to encounter snakes and wildlife on this walk. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.*** ABOUT THE TOUR: History, Highways, and Haunts, LLC has partnered with Historic Rugby, Inc. and is the official "after dark" tour company for the village. Join us as we step back in time to explore the history, legends, and ghost stories that surround this historic location. This tour will take you through the north end of the village and includes a 1/2 mile walk down to Laurel Dale Cemetery where you will listen to Appalachian/Victorian superstitions, folklore and burial customs . A hands-on demonstration of how to use dowsing rods will take place at the cemetery. The walk back will include a stop at the former Tabbard Inn site and entry into Uffington House. This tour only covers a brief outline of the history of the Village, so you will want to take our other tour if you are looking for a more detailed village history. - Each tour lasts approx. 90 mins - 2 hours (groups of 10 or less). *Larger groups may be accommodated w/advance notice. - A MINIMUM of 4 paying tour guests are required for the tour to depart. If this minimum is not met, your payment will be refunded. - Check in will begin 10 minutes before each tour. Tours will start promptly at the listed start time. Please be on time as we WILL NOT wait for late arrivals. - If you are booked & can't make the tour, please be considerate & let us know you won't be attending. - Tickets MUST be purchased in advance by booking online or calling our office between the hours of 11am-4pm EST on Thursdays - Mondays. Due to high demand & building capacity, tickets will NOT be sold at the door at the time of the walk. They can be purchased on the day of the event up to 3 hours before tour start time. - This is NOT a paranormal investigation. NO OUTSIDE PARANORMAL EQUIPMENT will be allowed on the tours. - Audio and video recording of the tours are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. - Photography is highly encouraged, so please bring your camera. - No alcohol or drugs are permitted and anyone giving t For more information call - 423-663-5353. Cancellation Policy

ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. This is a rain or shine tour. If the National Weather Service issues a severe weather warning, we will notify you and offer a rain check. Otherwise, dress weather accordingly and bring an umbrella if rain is predicted. All participants must be within the selected age range of the ticket that was purchased. For the enjoyment of all guests participating on our tours, any person, regardless of age, that is unruly, disruptive or inconsiderate will be asked to leave the tour without a refund. This will be at the discretion of the tour guide. This is NOT a paranormal investigation, so no outside paranormal equipment is allowed on the tour. Audio and video recording of the tour is strictly prohibited. Smoking, vaping and other tobacco usage is prohibited on the property. No alcohol or drugs are permitted and anyone giving the appearance of intoxication or inebriation will be removed from the tour without a refund. Period. No exceptions. This is at the tour guides discretion. Accessibility: For wheelchairs and scooters, many of the buildings and structures are not accessible. Assistance and service dogs, are the only animals that are allowed to enter the historic structure.
