The goal of History, Highways, and Haunts, LLC is to provide historically accurate and entertaining tours at each of our partner locations. Each of our after dark tours are designed to convey the historical significance of each location, as well as any legends and ghost stories that have been handed down through the generations.

The Historic Scott County Jail and Museum

The staff of History, Highways, and Haunts, LLC offer a variety of tours at a variety of locations. The headquarters for History, Highways, and Haunts, LLC is located within the Historic Scott County Jail in Huntsville, TN. At the jail, visitors can experience general daytime tours, Guided Flashlight Tours, Escape Room Games, Guided Ghost Hunts, and Private Paranormal Investigations.

*Accessibility: For wheelchairs and scooters, the second and third floors of the Historic Scott County Jail are not accessible. These floors are accessed by a staircase that we consider moderately strenuous. Assistance and service dogs, are the only animals that are allowed to enter the historic structure.

The Historic Village of Rugby After Dark

The town of Rugby, established in the 1880s, is a living community and a historic site that is preserving the story of the English families who attempted a cooperative enterprise on the Cumberland Plateau. History, Highways, and Haunts, LLC has partnered with Historic Rugby, Inc. to offer visitors “after dark” tours of this historic location. Tours include: Haunted History and Ghost Walks, Guided Ghost Hunts, and Private Paranormal Investigations.
